Keeping my promise with Challenge #252

Last Sunday I promised my new FB friend Suzanne Fluhr to start over with participating in the Diva's Challenges. Promise is a promise! And it's about time to get rid of my tangler's block...

So...
The Diva wanted us to use a tangle as our string (read here). Easy peasy: Phicops, because it has always been one of my favorite tangles!! It just screamed to be filled with Finery, that I'd practiced but never used before. Then some Pearlz. After shading, it still looked a bit dull. That's why I gave it a wash. I guess, it was the Diva's intention to use more tangles, but I'm happy with this result.

Well, it was great fun, after such a long time! Thank you, Susanne, for getting me this far ;-)

Happy Tangling everyone!

Tangles: Phicops, Finery and Pearlz

  1. I love it Anneke! It's simple but very striking. The color wash makes it really stand out too. You have given me some inspiration to try doing that.

  2. Really like it, too! It's not the number of tangles you use that makes a piece great but how you use what you decided on. Chapeau from me for tangling Finery - it's one of those few tangles that I can't seem to get a grip on. Yours looks so nice and easy, very beautiful!

  5. Welcome back to the Diva Challenge! Your Phicops tangles within a tangle worked out really well and the colors with which you prepared your tile are beautiful and very much compliment your composition.
